Their latest keyboard, codenamed COBALT, featured a circular screen with a rotating ring for navigating the interface. The aim was to design an HMI that matched the keyboard, the brand and the needs of users.
Navigation had to be simple, efficient and free of superfluous information, to maximise legibility and clarity. We opted for a style reminiscent of potentiometers to give this impression of control and affordance in its use.
